As the title says, looking for Ruger American Ranch 7.62x39 scope suggestions (any).
Mostly for target shooting up to 100m.
Also, suggestions for low rings for it.

I just put a Redfield Revenge 2-7 on a CZ527 in 7.62x39. It will work fine without breaking the bank.

Saying that, the Redfield Revolution 2-7 (if you can find one) is a nicer scope.

Warne máxima or Mountain Tech rings
1-4x24 First Focal Plane Bushnell 300 Blackout LPVO and a 2-10x50 SFP Weaver Mildot Scope is what sits on my Bench for that caliber. 300 Blackout and 7.62x39 share similar ballistics.
For precision work a 6-24x50 whether FFP or SFP
A happy medium would be 4-16 magnification
Adjustable elevation turret would be ideal over just a reticle with hash marks. The world is your oyster and there is no right answer. I would suggest paying more for a scope with a good warranty than buying cheap if you can swing it.

I had the 2-7 Revolution in plain old Weaver QD mounts and cant imagine a shot that couldn't be handled with it. It also suited the weight and handling of that rifle very nicely

OP is using a Ruger American 7.62x39 at 100yds. That's hardly a precision rifle and certainly not long range.

All those FFP and SFP Hubels with hash marks and oysters will not be needed. That be like putting a spoiler on a K-Car. :)

Thank you

For 100y 3x zoom is plenty, and you may not feel that way until you've shot with 24x and realize it doesn't make much of a difference on precision - Just did 100y 22lr shooting on a 4" target with 3.5x and had no issues hitting all.

I use a 4-12 Bushnell Dusk+Dawn on my 308 Ruger AP and shoot 0.7MOA with factory ammo. Got the gun for 470$ and 100$ for the scope from the EE.

I use these rings and I have about 1/8th between the bell and the rail. I filed a chamfer on the end to get the eye relief I wanted.

Mind your p’s and q’s. Just cause you don’t like my suggestions doesn’t give you the right to disrespect homies riding in their K-Cars with Spoilers. Nobody said long range. 6-24 lets you zoom right in to see your group without getting off your arse. Back out for better quality view. I get that your upset that these scopes aren’t your cup of tea but damn bro, move on. Didn’t call it a precision rifle either. Cluck cluck goes the chick tho.

On mine I current use a holosun 2 moa red dot, but recently I got an Athlon Helos BTR Gen2 2-12x42 AHMR2 that I may try on it. To chime in, I think a Redfield Revenge 2-7 would be great on it.

I just put a low-end Bushnell 3-9x40 and using Chinesium rounds @ 180yds I do OK, Barnaul a bit better.
Top 2 circles at 100 were RAR, and all on 180yds. The Circle-bulls are ca 2" D. Not 'Precision' but pretty OK, I think. Now just need to find good ammo, not a lot in this northern part of the world. I've got tons of Chinesium for practice with this and my SKS.

And I paste over the holes for several uses, until the stickies get thick. $-store posterboard is 2/$1, splatter targets are $1 or more each. And I need the bright colours at 180 for the SKS-irons.

I've gone with Bushnell Elite 2-7x32 on my Ruger M77 and CZ 527 carbines in 7.62x39. My 3 RAR carbines ( 450 BM, 350 Legend & 300 BLK.) all be fitted with 1-4x20 units from Bushnell, Vortex & Leupold. They work well fer me.
