Rare breed triggers: FRT-15

1 Any electrical or mechanical device that is designed or adapted to operate the trigger mechanism of a semi-automatic firearm for the purpose of causing the firearm to discharge cartridges in rapid succession.

Canada's definition of full auto and also what constitutes a prohibited device is wildly different from the US. Everyone thinks there is one cool trick, but there isn't.

This would most likely be a prohibited device, because the trigger is "operating" the mechanism by forcing the trigger to reset eliminating one step of a firing cycle. The end result too is that the purpose of the device is to cause the firearm to discharge cartridges in rapid succession, no matter how it arrives at that junction.

Can achieve that result with any semiauto using your trigger hand thumb in a belt loop and a practiced push forward with your other hand on the handguard. But it is purely instinctive shooting at best, more often a form of spray and pray.

Bump stocks and trigger cranks are banned in Canada so these would definitely be verboten as well.

Our laws suck and the Fun Police love enforcing them.
