I shot in a match CMP combination Garand, 1903 Springfield and Vintage Military Rifle matches.
One of the contestants in the Garand Match brought his Gas Trap Garand, It is a rebuild from a stripped receiver made in the late 30s in the right serial number range so it would be a restoration. I shot in the Vintage rifle match with a 1941 No4 Mk1 (no *) Longbranch. It won that category, this Texan is now even more impressed with Canadian craftsmanship.

I've used my 1941 Johnson in a couple of matches in the past. Fun to shoot and everybody wants to try it out later!

Scott

I've seen you shoot it, I've shot the one you sold Warren a while back . I think you've developed an unhealthy attachment to your Johnson ( no judgement ) lucky for you I will purchase said rifle thus allowing you to move on and be a better person. Your welcome, a fellow CHAS member..........let go of your Johnson Scott
