Hello!
I just got a really nice Rashid last Friday.
All matching, with a mirror bore and chamber, not a single burred screwhead, good blueing, not a single speck of corrosion BUT I feel sometime, in the past, a self-appointed moron at Parthenais screwed around with the trigger and disconnector function, trying to get it to fire full-auto
. That firearm was checked at Parthenais many years ago and wasn't fired ever since.
Since I already had to repair some FNs and other semi-autos that had spent some "quality time" at that place, I'm pretty sure there was a gremlin at work in Parthenais, trying to prove his point and get these firearms prohibited.
Anyone has drawings or good close-up pics of the trigger assembly and disconnector relationship between the parts?
Is there a place where I could find a detailed drawing of the trigger block and the projection that meets the disconnector arm?
Any site with military rifles drawings?
Thanks!
PP.
