hi guys, i just got my first gasser 1898 and it seems like there is a few parts missing, after a quick search i could not find any spare parts for sale so if any of you guys have some or a broken one for pieces im looking for the firing pin assembly and the handscrew that hold the cylinder rod and manual ejector in place

thanks!

I did not think about it since its a smokeless cartridge restricted revolver but i dont mind trying. Thanks

I forgot about this site;

Damn just my luck, not one website in the list has even one part i could find. Im most likely looking down the way of new manufacture. I can probably handfit a firing pin from a modern revolver. The issue is the lock nut or whatever it is called that hold the firing pin and spring. Id have to find someone with one that could take some dimension. If anybody is willing to take the dimension of the firing pin and lock nut it would help me alot

I will give it a shot. I have not disassembled mine that far but it is an easy revolver to work on.

I happen to have the GunDigest Revolvers assembly/disassembly book that has complete photo step by step disassembly for the 1898.

Unfortunately no schematic. I found an online picture.

From the few 1898s I have seen for sale more than a few have been missing the front screw you don't have.

So thanks to Milan i have some dimension of the part i need and im now looking to have them reproduced. Do any of you guys have any gunsmith recommendation for that kind of work? Those are pretty small and simple stuff but id still like peoples opinion on great gunsmith
