What would be, in your opinion, the best bullet weight for this combnation:

30-06 with 1:11 barrel

I'd like to hunt with my reloads, but I also have 150 gr. bullets (Hornady SP)

Will I get better results on target with this bullet or with the same type in 165 gr?

Thank you for your comments,

Ghys

The normal twist for the .30-06 is 1 in 10. 1 in 11 will do nicely for any normal bullet weight though. What make is your rifle? Just curious.
A 165 grain hunting bullet will kill any game you care to hunt.
The .30-06 loves 165 grain hunting bullets with IMR4064, IMR4895, H4895 or Varget. The 4895's are not the same. Close, but not the same. IMR4064 gives more consistent accuracy than either of the 4895's. Haven't ever used Varget myself, but it's widely used by target shooters.
If you're thinking serious target shooting use a 168 (out to 600 yards) or 175 (past 600) grain match bullet with the same powders. There are 150 grain match bullets now too. Good out to 300ish. Match bullets are not cheap though. None are suitable for hunting anything but varmints either.
You'll have to work up the load for each bullet weight.
