The mag is interesting....modded Enfield magazine with an FN body grafted on?
I'd certainly say it's made for this rifle...wonder how well it works?

I also wonder what a C3 Kahles ZF69 scope is worth? (and I'm glad it wasn't coated Green)

It has nothing in common with any .308 Enfield mag I've seen.
Now that you mention it, could it be a .308 Enfield mag with an FN or M14 body grafted to it too??

Looking at the ribs in the mag, it looks like it is a Canadian or other inch pattern FN mag that was modified to fit, the lines are too clean.

Looking at that scope mount, I wonder how the owner plans to remove the bolt for cleaning?
Then notice ths abscence of the screw at the rear of the forend. How many rounds will it take to split the forend?

if you blow the picture up , it looks like there is a screw there , and my parker hale 303 has a similar scope mount , but without a chunk machined out of it to to move the bolt head over , and i don't have any trouble removing the bolt in my rifle .

Gah! Chant with me brothers! Wood is Good! Wood is Good! Reused Dinosaur Remains Are Bad, Wood is Good!

Poor little Enfield...

On the bright side, at least the seller was honest in mentioning that a Hoover vacuum pipe was used to float the foreend. I'd sure like to hear the actual history of this rifle and the motivations behind turning it into what it is.

I imagine it's worth about as much as whatever the scope is worth.

Dollars are one thing, even with a Kahles ZF-69 (which I cannot afford; they are a nice scope).

I wonder what the thing would do on the range.....

Just had a look at the pictures. Not my idea of an Enfield conversion however the pistol grip conversion has been done many time before. Then there was the "Enfield Crocidile DunDee" used...anybody got a picture of it? The C3 ZF was worth the asking price alone...somebody scooped a very good scope.

The mag is a modified FAL mag, the Khales ZF69 scope is worth allot more than the selling price. Last one on e-pay sold in the $2000 range.
