raven holsters

You will have to order directly from Raven. It's like a 6 month wait I think. There are a lot of good alternatives to Raven that are cheaper and wait time is way less.

They're saying 16-18 weeks right now, the good news is that if you want one for your M&P without a light, their quick ship time is about 30 days. They really are terrific, people wouldn't wait if they weren't.

To obtain a RCS holster you gotta order one from their web store...IMO the wait times are embellished. From the order to my door took approximately 7-8 weeks. When ordered my Phantom people and ravenwere also saying the wait time was 6 months or more...perhaps I got lucky.

I was one of the people who pre ordered a vanguard 2...I'm excited to get my hands on it.

Raven do make nice stuff. Crazy demand since the magpul guys got it on the teevee. Check out Atomic Dog Holsters. They make some nice stuff, well priced and their wait time is A fraction of what Raven.
I can take some photos of some photos of the gear Atomic Dog made me if you want (pm me). It looks like every other concealment style holster though.

You may want to consider NTAC or even Solely Canadian. See my review comparing the 2 for more info.

I'd really like to get my hands on a Raven holster because the long wait times led me to go with an alternative company (Pitbull) and I am very satisfied. Everyone says Raven are the best though so I'd like to see if there is something better about them or if it's just hype or what. Unlike with a car or 1911 or computer or something, I can't imagine how a kydex holster could be better than what I'm using (I have def used some crappier ones though) so I'm dying to do a comparison.

If anyone in the Lower Mainland owns Raven and doesn't mind me fondling their stuff, please let me know haha

I have bought a couple of holsters and a belt from Nate Gable in Utah. He does nice work, has a very short wait time, and I've never had any problems with him. Look up w w w . ubgholsters.com.

Just to be contrarian, I've found that expensive, beautiful custom-made leather holsters -- not just Nate's, I have others -- are actually less functional for concealed carry than cheap Uncle Mike's generics. Go figure.

Another vote to consider one of the many, many excellent alternatives out there.

For best price and quickest turnaround time I've seen, check out Shielded Holsters. h ttp://www.shieldedholsters.com/

For outstanding quality and reasonable cost / wait time, check out Personal Security Systems. h ttp://www.psholsters.com/

I had excellent customer service with both of these options.
