RC 98k and YC 98k

Hey boys, what's the value for Yugoslav capture 98k (Yugoslav m98) compare to the Russian capture ones? My friend told me YC is higher because they did a much more careful refurb job.

They are really close to each other in value, assuming the yugo kept the German markings, many times they scrubbed them off and re-marked them with indigenous crests, proofs, etc.

Yugo amusers are usually re-serialized on the bolt handles and will have other scrubbed and re-numbered parts typically. RC's will keep german parts, but be mix-masters.

Condition being equal, you're looking at around $500 for either.

The best of the "refurbs" are the East Germans in the eyes of most collectors.
