rcbs 5-0-5 scale?

Is this a decent scale? I'm measuring powder for reloading rifle cartridges and muzzle loader loads.

The 505 RCBS is a very good scale,not the most expensive but a very decent scale. It also has the RCBS warranty if anything should go wrong with it.

Yep,, it will do the job. I've had one for over twenty years and is still good to go.

As for muzzle loading,, I don't load by weight, but by volume.

Good to know. I have a birthday coming up soon, and my wife appreciates it when I circle something in a catalog and say there. Makes it simple.

I should have explained, its a Savage muzzeloader and the powder is smokeless, SR4759. Its best weighed as that's how they specify the loads for the 10ML-II muzzleloader.

Well in that case, the 505 will work well.
