RCBS 505 Hanger

It appears as though my hanger/pan support for my RCBS 505 scale went missing in our move, as it wasn't in the box when I opened it up. No idea where it could have gone, but I've looked everywhere I could. I know you can buy a replacement part, but they are around $40-50 without shipping. However, I'd rather not spend that, as it is my secondary/backup unit. Are there are good ideas as to where to source a used part? Should I post to EE?

Yeah, I already emailed them, they just sent me the part number.

It'd probably be easier just sourcing another complete unit, either through the EE or auction. I did that for my Ohaus-RCBC 5-10. Now I've got 3!

Yeah, that's what I kinda figured. I'll keep my eyes opened at garage sales just in case, but I'll watch for a complete unit as well

Not a used part - I looked on Internet on RCBS website - User Instructions for that scale - looks like the part you are missing is simply a piece of bent wire? Maybe you can make one out of a wire coat hanger or similar? All it likely takes is your time - if like me, you'll get it wrong 5 times, before getting one that works.
