RCBS Ammo Master Chronograph

I have had the RCBS chronograph on order since last December. Not available from the manufacturer is the excuse.

Yes, I was in no hurry, especially over winter, but patience is running toward the empty pin.

Well, I ordered the Shooting Chrony F1 Master last wednesday and it arrived yesterday. Ordered right from the manufacturer and the total cost was $121 including GST and shipping. Saved $60 over WSS price.:dancingbanana:

Chrony models are ok, but they are not the last word in accuracy. Oehler is the way to go.

Oehler may be nice, but who is willing to pay $2k for a chronograph? That is all they sell now since their inexpensive Models, 33 and 35 has been discontinued.

I've been thinking it was about time I finally got one, to see exactly what velocities I'm getting as well as checking load to load velocity variations. I wasn't aware RCBS even made one but after viewing this thread, I thought I'd check it out so I called their 1-800 number and talked to 'Brian'. #1 it sounds like an interesting unit but I was told they are not available at the moment, there is a back order wait list and I was also assured they would ship to us 'good old boys' in Canada.:) I might 'need' one.;)
