Well, I broke my .223 recapping pin, on some Norc cases. Are the decamping pins interchangeable ? Can I use my .45 LC or 308 pin ? Thanks ... Any idea how this happens? :)

Easily replaceable.

Screw the decapping rod out of the die and you will see how it comes out. I buy them 5 at a time.
Not sure if 223 has a smaller diameter decapping pin but most likely the others will work just fine.

Any cases where there is a chance of berdan primed brass getting mixed in, I check each one with a little flashlight to confirm boxer primed. ONE flash hole, not two!

There are two size pins that I know of, 223 will take the 09608 small. 308 takes the large, not sure about the 45. I always seems to get a berdan primer case mixed in and bust my pins

great thanks, there is some brass, I've never seen, it takes 2 pulls on the lever. LC stamped, with a bunch of symbols .

I've just noticed , I have some rem .223 brass , and they have blue ink or something blue, around the primer. I have to sit the decamping pin extra long to deprime these. Also there really hard to prime. Crimped maybe? The .45 works:)

Some of them have headed pins, got two bags of different sized pins before I realized that i needed the headed ones.

RCBS sent me a bag of pins free of charge. Just contact them through their website.
They have an awesome warranty.

As a matter of fact, I have a bunch of set screws and a seater die nut on the way right now... yup free of charge.

They are headed pins. The .45 and 308 pins work in the .223 die, not sure if they are longer than the .223 pin as I can't find the broken pin anywhere:). Brownells has 2 diff packs of pins listed, but they both look the same . Maybe I'll give them a call. Just looked at the pins on brownells site, no heads on them.
