finally got around to buying a copy of the RCBS Cast bullet manual. Its not a huge book but i like the fact that it has some load not listed in the Lyman books and using different molds as well. I find i can spend lots of time researching new loads far before sitting at the loading bench.
Another book that was referenced by Ed Harris and others was Handloading Ammunition by J R Mattern. This is written in 1926 but as a cast loader and bullet maker there is lots of info here that is valid today.

It's been said that the RCBS data was later included in Speer Manuals; if you ever get a chance to check on that, I'd like to know.

I think the RCBS was printed in 1980, and I have a copy of Speer's 12th edition, 1995, without cast data.

Thank you in advance :)
