Rcbs Chargemaster

Just bought one .. absolutely awesome! You only need to type "chargemaster" into the forum search engine and you will get all the positive feedback you need. It's been discussed here alot.

Another tip .. buy it in the US. much cheaper.

:)

As I've said, the RCBS Combo was part of my equipment upgrade but I did keep my original Lyman 55 powder measure. I believe it will be quicker throwing multiple charges into a tray of handgun cases.

Midsouth Shooters Supply has the best price on them right now. but they are a bit of a pain to deal with if you're a new international customer.

MSS - $264.99
Natchez - $254.95
Shipping was around $35 from Natchez

Natchez is great to deal with. I asked for USPS shipping as their site says UPS only and got USPS shipping, so no brokerage fee. I did however have to pay the tax on it :(

Never dealt with MSS personally.

I have one - love it, got mine about three months ago. I deal quite a bit with MidSouth, but in this case I bought it from Natchez. No regrets.

I found a bit of a quirk with the chargemaster last night. If you're at Zero with the powder tray on it and you very slowly drop 1-3 granules of powder every second or so, it will keep re-zeroing itself. If you drop it right you could probably fill the the whole dish and still have it read 0. I had about 4-5 grains of powder into mine when I dropped a little too much and it registered....but it only showed the weight of the amount that I dropped at that time, not the rest of the powder that was in the tray already.

This may a problem if your weighing small amounts of flake or ball powder. I have only measured extruded so far myself.
