RCBS Competition seating die

I was told that any .308 calibre competition seating die will work on any .308 calibre. Does anyone know if this is correct? (For example either a .308 or30-06 competition die will seat a bullet on a .300 Win Mag)

Not sure about that but if it does i wonder how accurate it could be as the Forster ones i use are specific to that cart. as the case is fully inside and supported to ensure in-line seating.

I have the RCBS Comp Seaters dies for all of my calibers. The sliding sleeve supports the neck and bullet during the seating process to give perfect alignment. The die comes with an extended shell holder that is specific to the cartridge. ie 300wm has a shorter shell holder than 308, so if you get the shell holder for each cartridge you should be good to go, these should be available if you call/email RCBS cust service.
