RCBS FL Dies Question

Is wear on RCBS FL dies from normal reloading a problem to the point where they should be replaced over time. Reason I am asking is I have an opportunity to buy a few sets of old dies but they are all used. They all look fine in fact most look like they have never been in a press but I have really no way to check them at this stage. thanks for the feedback

I've never worn out a set of dies, I think there is more of a concern about getting deep scratches on them.
