I have a problem concerning my RCBS Rock Chucker Press. It is unuseable without a small part fitting on to the top of the ram and which will accept the smaller older shell holders.
I have an old Pacific C press, and many shell holders which fit the ram head no problem. About 1992, I bought a RCBS Rockchucker with the 0.995" diameter ram. When I bought the latter press, the RCBS, I also received some type of adapter to take my older non RCBS shell holders. In moving my stuff from on location to another, I somehow, lost this piece.
So, I have an old Pacific C press, shell holders for it which can not be used in the much bigger, stronger RCBS press.
I've got no where with RCBS over the last year. I have phoned them and emailed them to no avail. In the last email to them, I supplied five very clear images of the problem which I described. This email went to rcbs.tech@atk.com. I am being ignored by them.
I should add that the shell holders & dies that I have are from about 5 other companies, including RCBS.
I would think that a company of this size would have on staff someone who can tell me where I can obtain the part to go onto the top of the RCBS ram and accept the smaller diameter shell holders.
It is my intention to send them a letter explaining my plight but I am unsure where to send it. Is the following address correct?
RCBS,
605 Oro Dam Blvd.
Oroville, CA 95965
