Anyone uses these furnaces for casting bullets? I need some first hand experience with it. I've seen Lee furnaces in action and they are dripping and messy so I won't bother.

Thanx

My lee 10lber had a few leaks here and there but i haven't had any leaks from my lee 20lber. I only put clean lead into it which helps to prevent dirt from getting into the spout.

Food for thought.

Love my RCBS, started with the Lee for the obvious reason the price. Advantages of the RCBS is cleaning crud out of the spout is easy, its a straight hole, lee is a weird off set angle(I actually got something in my Lee spout and it will not come out). the flow rate can be controlled which is nice when pouring big 405gr for my 45-70 pours them real fast. Only problem is 10lb runs out real quick, but easy that's where the Lee pot comes back into play it warms lead up for me while Im casting with my RCBS. But I think last time I looked the RCBS was around 670 with the exchange rate so be prepared.

Lee works great for home casting; def. not for commerical. Only use clean weights, keep a piece of copper wire around for the occasional cleaning. Use a mini butane touch if needed to heat up tip, stick ~14g wire up sprout to clean it.
