Would this be a good setup to begin reloading? I figure I should at least learn on a single stage for a while before upgrading to progressive. Budget has them listed for $360, I don't see a better looking kit for less.
 
Absolutely! I would also recommend you buy a digital calipre along with your first set of dies. My calipre was from Home Depot at around $35 and was better than the $15 CT one I bought. The manual in this kit is the Speer#14 another great inclusion. A loading block to set shells in (you can drill your own in a block of wood) and a table/bench to bolt the press to and you're ready to load the components of your choice.

If you're loading bottleneck rifle like say .308 you will also be needing a case trimmer soon so keep this in mind as another must have tool.
 
$360 is for the whole kit, best price I've seen in Canada by a long way. So add a case trimmer, puller collet and tumbler. I'm a millwright so no shortage of calipers. The ABC of Reloading is on its way already.

Just go for it and buy the progressive Henry at Budget sells the Hornady LnL AP for 100 more than the SS you're looking at right now.

I'm just waiting on mine.

I would happily spend the money on a progressive, but I feel like I should learn on a single stage before upgrading.

I personally use my progressive as a single stage all the time for various tasks. I find I prefer to just have one press on the bench since thats all I have space for. Just because there is five stations on the press doesn't mean you have to use them all at once and if its ur first time reloading I would highly recommend only doing one thing at a time and learning what each step does and how it feels. Then when your ready you can start going progressive and you don't have to buy another press and your dies are all set up.

Bass pro has them for $339. Wholesale sports and Cabelas will both price match. I got mine at WSS for the matched price a couple weeks ago.
