RCBS Scale Sticking

I have an RCBS 505 balance beam scale that has started sticking. It sticks in the at rest position and if I tap the pan it will weigh. I've checked it with test weights and it seems accurate, just annoying. I can't find any marks where it is rubbing or binding or anything. Any ideas of where to clean or what parts to replace.

The 5-0-5 rides on 'knives'. Lift the beam out and clean the knives( the part of the beam that touches the base, shaped like a knife edge) with alcohol.
Inspect the place on the base where the knives ride and clean them. Dust, powder kernels are your enemy.
Check both areas for burrs.
Do not lubricate.
Ensure that the knives are well seated in the base.

A soft clean toothbrush to clean out those grooves and a bit of compressed air.

Yup what the other guys said, clean the knives area, i use a q tip with alcohol. Also clean the area where the pointer is, my Ohaus which is the same as RCBS has very little clearance.
