RCBS Trim Pro 3-Way Cutter

Anyone have experience with the RCBS Trim Pro 3-Way Cutter? Do they work well, and what about the VLD model?

I would say it is the best upgrade you can get on a manual trimmer .. unless you are talking about powered

a Pain to set up .. but great after that

I use the standard 3-way cutters and have mandrels for several different calibres. It works very well but can be a bit finicky at times to set up to get even internal and external chamfers.

I have never tried the VLD version so can't comment on them.

The 3 way cutter is even better when set up in a powered unit.

I was wondering what the power unit looked like set up! My father removed the handle that the RCBS model which is a 1/2” shaft and a cheap cordless drill with 1/2” chuck can run it! I was looking for the VLD model which they list but finding someone who sells it is difficult.

I love mine, although i havnt been able to get the outside camfer to work well on 20 caliber, but all other calibers I have trimmed have worked great.

So where did you guys purchase yours? I’ve found a .338LM on Amazon.ca for $136

X-Reload has them in stock for a fair bit less money.

I think I bought mine years ago from Brownells.
