RCBS Trim Pro Seized!?!

Has anyone had a Trim Pro sieze on them in operation? I was trimming brass using the RCBS drill conversion and suddenly it all seized up. The little hex head for the drill broke off in the screw head and it was seized up solid. I had to use a hammer to move it. I had trimmed less then 15 cases so I don't see it getting really hot yet. I dunno, maybe I should have used some oil on the shaft.

I'll call RCBS tomorrow, and I have an old Case Trimmer 2 I can get parts from to stay operational (except the power drill adapter, unless I can get the hex bit out of the screw head where it broke off flush).

I'm just curious if anyone else has ever experienced something similar?

Pushing too hard, too fast with probably a dull cutter. Only b**** I have about the trimmer - hard to get a sharp cutter to stay that way. They tend to trim to length and leave a "web" on top you need to pretty well grind off with the chamfering tools. (Cutter steel is too soft which makes a great reason to use a red or yellow trimmer). Thank God for the power case prep station. Good news is RCBS is great to deal with. Almost sure they'll fix you up - they stand behind their stuff.

Well I am now using the three way cutter that chamfers and deburrs as the same time, although I know the problem you are referring too. I'm certain they will stand behind it fine, they always have.
