RCBS VS Redding

Had a RCBS Die for .22 Hornet most of the cartridges were damaged while calib.
Heard from a fellow here change the Die and go for Redding. ( Thanks ) I did and no damage any more.

Most of the high precision shooters ( or Benchresters ) use Redding.

Both companies have some things that the other either doesn't or that 1 has that is better.
RCBS for example makes dies and presses for 50 caliber , Redding does not.
Redding makes about the best match dies available, RCBS "match dies" are more generic than match.
Redding has no prblem making up a weird die set, at slight additional cost, RCBS is harder to get true custom stuff from.
Both have truly excellent customer service.
To have some products from both is in my opinion a good thing.

I have not used RCBS "Match" dies but I have used (and currently use) Redding Competition Dies.

I can say that I would not give up my Redding Comp Dies for anything else available on the market today.
Wilson dies are probably the same or better than the Redding dies but Redding are more widely available, and I believe somewhat less expensive.

I prefer redding to vitually all brands, particularly the seating dies. They are more precise, consistent and easier to adjust than any I've found.
