RCBS's Warranty

I have to agree with Gatehouse. Have a set of older .45 dies that developed some issues. RCBS made it right, and did it pretty fast!

I have to ask ...........

How did you break a set of dies?;)

:)I was wondering the same thing myself. I'm 'guessing' it may have to do with part of the decapping pin assembly.

As has been mentioned, RCBS stands firmly behind their products and their warranty and customer service is second to none.

maybe the old style lock ring that's buggered up, Ive had mine replaced on warranty with no hassle .

True enough. I've had similar problems, and with die sets other than RCBS as well as RCBS. When I ordered a Hand Case Neck Turner set up from them, I mentioned the problem with lock rings and asked if they could send me some replacement rings, :)which they did. What I did do with some of the older lock rings, RCBS as well as other brands, was to remove the set screw in the lock ring and place a piece of lead shot under it to contact the threads on the die. Seemed to do the trick.

There is no body that makes dies like them or stands behind their product like they do. I used a piggy back on a rock chucker for years. There was problems with it but when I needed parts they would send me the entire overhaul kit free.

I had a 300 win. mag case break on me inside the die. The die was 20 years old and they sent me a new one. There is no way I would use another product.
