Hey

I just had my firearm transferred into my name, from a local CGN member. My m14 got approved into his name with out issues, and the mr1 I was receiving (plus cash) was put into approval... I asked what that meant they said it needs to be processed? Right after that conversation my buddy had a sks transferred into his name with out any approvals.

Mr1 is non restricted. What are these kids at our great institution doing with approving a mr1 transfer?

Anyone else have this issue before? I will call tomorrow and make sure it is non restricted.

I wouldn't worry about it... some Non-Restricteds get delayed automatically.

The Beretta CX4 Storm (>18.5" barrel) for instance is always treated like a restricted when transferred, the MR1 is probably in the same boat.

Randomly non-restricted firearms will be held and sent for approval or something they call it a review. My Mossberg shotgun was in "review" for about a month I think it was.

i bought a m14 recently that went for review....i probally transfered 50 or so FAs in the last 3 years with no problems, i think it is because it is christmas and the CFC want to play scrouge this year...f'ing bastards.....
