RCMP called, I wasn't there-They going to call back?

This is what it says on my caller display RCMP-GRC, LONG DISTANCE, BLOCKED NUMBER. No msg left. They called one of my references-he talked to them, my other reference missed the call as well (he thinks-got a PRIVATE # he missed).

My question is, are they going to call back soon or am I going to the bottom of the pile now? I put on the application to call during the day, (work at night/afternoons) and they call me at 4:30pm when I'm at work. Strange.
 
If they miss you on the phone they send a letter asking you to phone in. In my case I called in to check on the progress. They told me about the letter and to get my references to call in. The letter showed up 45 days latter and where post marked almost 30 days after the phone calls had been made and the licence had arrived.
 
Thanks guys. Called them, did the interview. Sent the message to my other reference they couldn't get hold of. Asked him to call them. Hopefully I get this done quickly. All I was asked was pretty well everything that was on my application I filled out.
 
I don't expect any problems at all. I'm already background checked and fingerprinted for my job. I'm so clean, I squeak. What will I buy first... when it gets here...

I know someone who was interviewed by a psychologist over the phone! I was getting a little nervous. Nothing to be nervous about I guess.
 
Is this for an RPAL? I have never heard of them calling references for a non-restricted. You may want to call them. It will be a snow day in he11 before they call you back.

Not to my knowledge, I think they only have enough resources to call for restricted.

I am interested to see what happens with my Brother-in-law. He just came off a prohibition order do to a fist fight he was involved in 10 years ago. He does his test at the end of the month. I am curious if they will call references even though he is applying for the non-restricted PAL only. I will let you know.
