RCMP Colt New Service Revolver

How many CGN's shoot the RCMP Colt revolver....i believe it is chambered for the .45 Long Colt cartridge

I've got one that was passed down to me. It was put into service in 1938. Tight look up and 90% finish, all original. Shoots great!

RCMP bought them in .455" and 45LC. Issue of 45s was east of Manitoba.

I don't know about that. My pistol belonged to my great-uncle. The farthest east he was ever stationed was Sask. Most of his postings were in B.C.

the one I had, had a western providence as well, chambered in 45 Colt. - dan

MP New Service

I have a great condition, MP marked New Service in .45 that shoots really well. It came from a member's widow and she said that the custom grips on it had been made by her husband.

Anyone have a set of factory grips for sale?

Should have said .455 was issued west of Ontario. 45 in east.
