RCMP Firearms Website and Transfers

Thanks a ton for your hard work.

Appreciate that. We shouldn't be getting too much credit- yes, we are working hard and the entire staff has stepped it up - however, this is what we do and while we are doing our best to provide some normal lever of service during this busy time; but it shouldn't be unexpected from our clients. :)

Still waiting on one of mine in Ontario for June 1. Haven't heard a thing. I imagine the purchases I've made at the end of July will be transferred some time around December :)

I was just about to come give you guys a hard time about my order (jokingly of course!), I called the CFO yesterday, they approved my transfer and I let you guys know, and as of this morning it was still "awaiting transfer clearance" on your website.

Well, I figured I'd check my order status before I harrass y'all, and now it says its shipped! Thanks guys! Keep up the good work!

Im not positive but I suspect it was not intentional on their part it seems to me anyway to be similar to the Xbox website when it was hit by DDoS attacks, just the way it went down how long it was down how they reported it was down and seeing how the anti gun people get worked up in their protests Id say thats right up their alley

They haven't the brain power in their entire collective to do anything like what you suggest.

We don't need any conspiracy theories to explain the website going down. The website was an unstable mess BEFORE it also had to deal with NR transfers, and it was an unstable mess BEFORE the Gov't forced 60 000 handgun sales in 2 months. Of course it is going to have issues when you take an already bad website and then add a crap-ton more traffic to it...

Hey guys,
Are we fairly confident that the federal changes tomorrow revolve around importation but that initiating transfers will still be going through? I only ask because I’m getting nervous. Still showing as awaiting fulfillment from Monday morning (which I imagine means it’s not initiated yet). Is the federal website still behaving?
Thanks for all your hard work. I know you have four staff burning through them.

So nowadays, when you're purchasing an NR firearm and have to do that whole "not a long gun registry" thing, you're not being asked by the CFO for the make and model of the gun?

Just received a transfer (5929###, From June 10.) from the CFO in Sask. Forwarded to Prophet River. Thanks PR.

the cfo will contact you via your my webservice account telling you they approved the transfer and the seller has to keep a record of the sale for 20 years either way because it goes through the webservice theres also an online record
