RDS for Beretta CX4

Do yourself a favour and use a riser, and just keep the proper key handy if you need to take it off. Using the iron sights or any red dot that cowitnesses them is annoying in my opinion. Gotta really crane your neck!

I have a holosun on one of mine with an open riser so you can look right through. That's perhaps the best of both worlds. On the other is a Venom with a solid riser. Nicer RDS but would need to be removed to use the irons.

I agree with the above. Absolute co-witness is too cluttered. Since you can't remove the irons, use a riser.

Holosun are nice for the money.

Bushnell trs25 is in my cx4. It sits low mounted which cowitnesses nicely; although i have the sights folded down out of the way. It is an amazing rds especially when the price is taken into consideration. I have had my trs25 for 5 years with no complaints; would buy another trs25 if i had a reason to! I upgraded my rifle from a sub2000 to the cx4 but feel no need to "upgrade " the rds.

Personally, I'd stay away from Vortex, especially anything less than the Razor line. I've owned 3 of their red dots and all have broken with minimal use. Yes, they have a kick ass warranty but you still have to send it back every time and pay shipping.

:( I hope you have just had bad luck. I have a few Vortex products and the Sparc AR on the way...

Wow, bad luck!

I have 3 Sparc, 2 Venom and a SPitfire which all have sustained lots of rough treatment and thousands of rounds of ammunition. I think you are the RDS kryptonite!!:)

Perhaps. I have been using a T1 for a few years now and just picked up an MRO to try. I could never go back to Vortex.
