Spend a little more, & get a burris, or a vortex. I have a bushnell 1st strike; should be called a third strike----the dot fades in & out, doesn't come on at all sometimes, loses zero. Now sits on my bench. Just a little over a year old---out of warranty. I also have 3 vortex venoms, and a bushnell trs-25, all on pistols or revolver. They work the way they're supposed to.
