re-barrel .22-250

Does anyone know the approximate cost of rebarreling a rem 700 in .22-250?
I would like to replace a sport contour barrel with a heavier one. I understand that the stock will have to be altered as well. Is that a big job?
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

I would guess depending on the make of the custom barrel and if it is stainless or chrome moly, and the gunsmith doing the work - anywhere from $600 on up.
