Fellow I know is wanting to have his father's 4 inch 686 re-barreled to Restricted length so he can have it handed down.

Numrich has a 6" in stock according to their web site. I have no idea if any Canadian outfit stocks these.

Extra $30 or so usd to bring in that Numrich barrel in via an importer is always an option.
So you CAN...bring a revolver barrel in from Numrich....because I would love to get a 32cal RF barrel and cylinder for them...
Only $30? Darn. Who does this? I just rebarrelled my S&W Model 10 with a 5" from TradeEx because I was under the imression that Numrich wouldn't sell even sell for legal export. (No cpmplints with TradeEx, though.) They have some nice "oddball" barrel lengths, like 4 1/8" HB for the Model 10.

I went to check and looks like everyone raised their prices since I needed to do that last... There aren't that many importers: Irunguns, prophet river, borderview and the unmentionable that goes something like _A_Z_tech.
Yup. Murray has retired (alas, alas...) Apparently the new S&W agent is Grech Outdoors . From what I've read, they're not very highly thought of.
