Re-barrelling a Model 7

Can I re-barrel a model 7 to a heavier barrel? I have a 243 SS that I would like to have re-barreled to a fluted heavier set up. Thanks,

Rebarrelling a Model 7 is no different than rebarrelling a Model 700. Same barrel shank dimensions.
You will likely need a new stock if you are going to a heavier barrel.
Why fluted? For appearance?

Umm, I like the appearance, and it cuts down on the weight a little, it's not a deal breaker though.

Yup, no problem. The footprint of the action is identical to the XR 100 except with a repeater cut-out.
