I plan on re-barrelling my Sako M85 Finnlight 300 WSM with a Rob Jury barrel.
My challenge is figuring out the correct contour to order. I have a McMillan Hunter's Edge Sako Hunter stock that apparently can't handle anything larger than a "#4 Douglas" contour.
Question - Has anybody out there rebarrelled a M85. If so, what counter did you order. Thanks
BTW - I'm looking at 2 gunsmiths - Stelios Chrysochou of SC Gunworks and Jason Spencer of Gunco - to do the rebarrelling work. Any comments from anybody out there about the quality of work of either of these two would be much appreciated as well.
