Re blueing non ferrous parts

I'm refinishing an old 12 ga. Cooey840 and there are a couple parts that are cast pot metal. Is there any way to re blue these parts? I'm parkerizing the other parts with manganese phosphate. Thx
 
I believe you pretty much need to find a paint type product like alumahyde sp?? or some such product that matches the parkerized finish as good as you can.

Yeah. Look up Cera-cote and similar paint type products.

Its what the factory used. OK, what they likely used was a baking enamel that you are unlikely to find easily, so that is as close as you are going to get these days.

Highly unlikely to be cast pot metal, but assuming they're zinc based metal parts they'll likely take Parkerising with no fuss. Doing it yourself?
