Has anyone had a prohib re-classed as a restricted lately? I have been waiting on a couple that are in the works with the cfc for about 9 or 10 months now, is this normal?

No, taking a short barrel prohib, adding a longer barrel and re-classifing as restricted.

I received a re-barrelled S&W Model 34 last month. I bought the gun last May, work was completed in June, re-classification was completed in late February. It took repeated faxing in of the paperwork by the gunsmith along with numerous phone calls to get it done in 8 months. I don't know if this is normal or not, it was my first run at this.

Sounds like yours are stuck in the same pile as mine.
