Re finished sporter project .303 mk2

Cost was under 140$ for gun and materials, I wanted to work with what I had. Got a .303 british mk2 with full length barrel that was sporterized and had surface rust all over so I cleaned it all off with steal wool and CLP. Decided to just clean it up since finding an MK2 stock was a challenge. First time doing a full refurbish including metal.

Nie job, nice to see one with an unmolested barrel. Take a good look at the sling might be a rare one. Looks like the old martini sling.

What paint and/or process did you use for the new finish on the metal?

^ Whatever it is, I think we can agree he did a great job on it! The finish is as smooth and even as any suncorite I've seen. @OP; Now you're on the hunt for a full stock set and the proper magazine, and a bladed bayo, and a sling, and an oiler, and a pull through, and, and, and,...you're hooked (just like the rest of us!)
