re:New Mills mag pouch for Inglis Hi Power

Was looking through the latest isssue of Shotgun News ..pg 164 charleyssurplus.comand noticed a ad for magazine pouches for the Browning Hi Power,....these are originally mf'd by Mills in late 1918 and were put into war storage until WW and given to the Brits on lend lease the add states that they were originally meant for .45 auto,..but by then the Brits and Canada had acquired the Inglis HP pistol ,...these mag pouches are large enough for the double stack mag for the Inglis HP .

In Clive Laws book "The Inglis Diamond " on pg 215 it shows a picture of these mag pouches ,..also on pg 196 it shows a picture of a similiar pouch,..but is Canadian issue with 3 magazine capacity .

Priced at 3/$30.00 or 10.95 each

Sorry guys ,..but the mag pouches don't show up on the website,...only in the Shotgun News ad

There was no BHP in 1918. Sounds like Charley is doing some creative writing.
The BHP wasn't widely issued to the CF or Brits during W.W. II either. Paras got them, mostly. Mind you, it's not impossible that W.W. I vintage kit was issued. Both countries decimated their military budgets after W.W. I. Lots of old kit, uniforms included, got issued again.

Allot of creative writing on that site...
