RE: Simple Scope for my first rifle
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to know if this scope i originally bought a few years ago for my shotgun, is still something i could use on a new rifle that i am hoping to buy soon.
obviously i would probably have to buy new rings and a new mount (sorry i am just learning and not familiar with all the Scope Lingo).
it is a Banner Scope, and the details written on it are ....3x-9x40.
i assume that's 3 to 9 times magnification, what does the 40 represent?
PS: the rifle i am hoping to get is "CZ Rifle 452 " .22cal.
it does not look like it comes with a scope, any idea on the costs to add a scope physically, does a gun smith have to drill holes for the scope rails or mount?
thanks in advance
