Re-Verifying a Lower with an Upper... can you swap uppers freely after that?

So, tonight I ordered a complete Lower :D WOOOOT!!! (Thanks Questar!)

Since I am new to this... what is the deal with re-verifying once I get an upper for it?

Do I need to always re-verify when I switch uppers afterwards or will one upper do it?

Any tips on this portion of building an AR would be appreciated... Thanks

P.S. How long does re-veryfying take?? (Is it a quick stop... or do I have to leave the firearm there for a week... ugh!!)

Any suggestions for verifyers in BC (Lower Mainland) ?

An upper is not a firearm. It is a piece of aluminum and steel. Once you have the lower registered in your name, you can buy a hundred different upper configurations and it's nobody's business!
That's part of the AR fun.
Screw the verifiers. No offence to verifiers!

If you look at the top of one of the pages that your registration certificates come on, it tells you what changes the CFC needs to be notified of. Barrel length changes isn't one of them (unless the change makes the firearm change class).

if the upper changes the calibur you are suposed to let them no if the change is for more than 30 days.

Somehow I dont think that the cfc has the technology to know that you left a different upper on for more than 30 days.
