1/8 moa... yikes have fun turning it, over, and over and over...

I hear they aren't bad for the money though overall.

I was looking at one of these a while ago on ebay once, i'm interested in more opinions on quality.

You won't get too far out there I'll bet without shimming that thing.
1/8 MOA turrets do not lend themselves to long distance shooting, not enought adjustment!

Be it Barska, Leupold or whatever a scope lends itself to what the shooter wants to do. Everyone has their quirks, there likes and dislikes. I tried one at the range shooting at 200, 300, and 400 yards. I got my 5 shot grouping everytime. By the way I didn't have to shim either.

How many minutes per revolution of the turret, both the elevation and windage values? What's the total internal adjustment available, either total from bottom to top, or plus minus from centre? Minute value, or available revolutions?

These type of specs should be part of every LR scope manufacturers info sheet.

You can get to 675 meters without a cant rail. It is very clear from 200 out.
If you shooting is gonna be under 700 meters it will be fine with std mounts.I found it big , and a bit heavy. Plus side, very clear optics. Would not pay more than $300 shipped for one of those.

675 m with a .308 I assume?

Frank,

You didn't say what cartridge to 675m.

A .308 to 675m, may translate to 6.5/284 to 900m or... (.308)=38mins vs (6.5/284)=23 mins at 1000yds.

Optics clear, what about adjustments precise and repeating?

The cal was 7 rem mag, 168 grain bullets, @ 2750-2800 fps I would say. Scope repeat settings seemed ok, I did the switch to a SS, and did not get a rail as what would have been required for 800 meter shooting.
Hope this helps, for the price , its a nice scope. Sold mine as new for $260 shipped.
