Nothing really fancy about it. A few Volquartsen parts and a buffer. Was prompted by a friend to get ready for gopher shooting.
Last fall past,(yes that long ago) the original scope leaked it's nitrogen during a rabbit hunt. Bunnies were very safe that day. :redface:
Which pissed me off as I had seen 11 of them that evening!
I just replaced it with a serviceable scope (Burris 2-7 Compact) and it's now sighted in at 3/4s of an inch high at 25, and just a touch high for 50.
Can't wait to get it into the gopher fields and someone nearby wants all rabbits demised on his rural property. Where to begin huh! :D
This one devours Winchester copper clad HPs and Super X power points like it was made for it. Not even a single misfire so far.
I've sworn off Remington 22 LR for a few years now. Poor accuracy beyond fifty yards and much too dirty.

Rugermania here I come!
