Looking for any material or articles on reading updraft and downdrafts for elr shooting. There's not much out there online.
I'm shooting across a narrow, steep canyon at 400m bang on for the first target and the second target is at 417m.
I occasionally get unexpected flyers either above or below the target. I am aware that it can be ammo related and take that into consideration.
This tends to occur if I don't shoot with the wind direction or intensity being absolutely the same around me, and from what I judge the wind is doing by watching the trees , brush and grass around the target. Between the two, I try to interpolate and make a swag about what the wind is doing. I need to be better.
