Just not sure which gun to take
the:
norweigen krag 6.5x55, the 308 norma, the 25-06 remmy, the 338 winny (J/K)
maybe the slug gun,
I guess I'd better make up my mind soon

to say is be careful out there fellows. Be sure of your targets and your surroundings. I will be watching out for the strangers new to the area I hunt. I do not trust anyone with whom I have never hunted with.

What are you hunting, moose or deer? How long will your shots be?
Will you be stand hunting or stalking?
Which rifle are you most comfortable with?
I would go for the 308 Norma or 338 win myself.
