Real Eotech with no serial

I'm going to have to say you will have to toss it and buy something else if it breaks. Probably not what you want to hear but most likely scenario
 
At least you know it's not a knock-off. You figured they'd at least laser engrave the serial. So many types of oils, cleaning chemicals, heat etc, a sticker is such a temporary option for something that's supposed to last the lifetime of the unit.
 
Go back to them and say:

"Is that why your logo is laser engraved, but the serial number is a sticker? So you can honor fewer warranties?"

One more reason to avoid eotech.

I know right? too bad it's just a sticker and it became loose after hard use.....
 
Just had my Eotech sent stateside to fix. Sticker said 9 years old (2007) they will not repair units more than ten years old. Just an FYI. Repair $99 U.S. plus shipping. 143 U.S. Total. Flat rate

Always check eotech website to be sure it's not an airsoft knockoff. If buying used be SURE the reticle is visible in BRIGHT sunlit areas. Mine looked fine until I got it in the field...
