I have a DPMS LR-308 AP4, with the front sight post, and am planning to scope it.
Obviously, this means the carry handle rear sight is a no-go.
My question is: What rear BUIS (folding preferably) are the right height in order to be aligned with the fixed front sight?
I am an AR platform rookie, and I'm not sure if all the heights are standardized or not. I know the .223 AR-15 world is standardized across the board, more or less, but the 308's have a lot more proprietary/unique dimensions.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
