rear hand guards no1 MkIII

this might belong in the Enfield sticky. So I`m making some figured walnut front hand guards, and I have some that is too short for the front.so here is a matching rear hand guard. this is the first rear hand guard I`ve made, and I think it turned out pretty good. I guess I`ll have to do a fore end next time I get some more figured walnut. maybe a practice one from straight grain walnut first.
the piece next to it will be the front hand guard. I have no rear hand guard clips at the present.

thanks, I should be finishing the front hand guard that matches this tonight or tomorrow, I`ll put it on mine and see how it looks. think I`m going to have to try a whole stock with this wood. it sure looks nice, but what a PIA to work

That looks damn good. You do better work freehand than I do with a duplicator!
