rear sight of M1 Garand fit M-305?

I am looking to replace the complete rear sight assembly on my m-305, as the darn thing just doesn't want to stay tight. It seems like M-14 parts are getting harder to get across the border now, and I see Marstar has M1 Garand complete rear sights available. Anyone know if this would work in the M-14/M-305? Thanks

The difference between a Garand rear sight assembly and an M14 assembly is that the Garand sight reads in yards, the M14's is in meters.That's either a pain in the butt, or another great way to make your rifle less acceptable to the Lieberals!

Yes, Garand rear sights will fit the M305 with no modifactions.

It is a straight swap.

As said above, the Garand sights are marked in yards.
