Rear sight question .... What is it off of?

Found this rear sight in my stuff today. No idea where it came from. My guess it's from a M94 but not sure.

Any thoughts?

Sold. In post retirement, I've been going through all my stuff and selling off all the things I don't need or use. This weekend I sold that sight and 200 pcs of brass. It adds up fast.

A nice old steel Lyman receiver sight would be the best upgrade for that rifle.
